What is Fields of Faith?

Fields of Faith is an event where students challenge their peers to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ

Fields of Faith is an annual student-led event in which schools all over the world gather on fields and courts to worship God. In the past, our area held one to two Fields of Faith events, gathering students from all over to one place. This year, our students are passionate about gathering to worship, and have multiple sites planned!

On Wednesday, October 8th, area schools from Williams County gathered for an evening of student led worship! Huddle leader Michael Wortkoetter from Montpelier directed the event, gathering student leaders from each school in the county. Students participated in reading God’s Word, praying, and sharing their testimony! At the end of the night, many students came forward seeking prayer, and a change in their life!

A few nights later, Sunday, October 12th, another Fields of Faith took place in Archbold. Although the adult Huddle leaders helped organize this event, student leaders took the reins and led the evening with worshipping in song! Over a hundred students praised God, spent time in prayer, and were empowered by an evening of worship!

But wait, there is more! On Sunday, October 26th, Defiance County schools gathered at the Niese Center (Defiance HS Baseball Field House) for food, games, and worship!

The final FCA event planned was the same night, October 26th, in Napoleon! The Henry County schools gathered at Crossroads Napoleon for worship, bonfire, and fellowship. Three schools worked together to plan this evening in which the Gospel was presented and God was glorified!

Praise God for the spiritual movement that is taking place in our young people! As much as we may say this young generation has a lot of problems, they are also a generation that is bold in their faith, and courageous in seeking spiritual transformation!
